Ghent University owns a patriomonium that is partly outdated, and does not always meet the current demands of teaching and research. Renovation and new construction are needed. In the pursuit of a climate-neutral and more sustainable campus, this should be done in the most circular, energy-efficient and sustainable way possible.
Daarom gaan we binnen het traject Circulair Bouwen met studenten, docenten, de Dienst Gebouwen en Facilitair Beheer, de Afdeling Milieu en externen aan de slag met de volgende vragen: hoe maak je de afweging tussen renovatie en nieuwbouw? Is het mogelijk om gebouwen op een circulaire manier af te breken? Hoe bouw je voor een duurzamere en circulaire toekomst? Hoe stimuleer je duurzame & circulaire technologiën en infrastructuur? Hoe kan de universiteit zich anders organiseren om duurzaam en circulair bouwen te faciliteren?
